Inside Valley Forge Park
Use this unofficial guide to enjoy the best that Valley Forge Park has to offer. This wiki is provided by a local resident, not by the National Park Service. I have no affiliation with the park other than using it every day. So if the information is incorrect, blame human error.
Don't be the cause of a traffic jam - Rte. 23 runs through Valley Forge Park. It's the only way for many of the suburban residents to get to and fro. Sightseeing is great, but please - don't stop in the middle of the freaking highway to take photos or read a marker. Pull into a parking area and enjoy a leisurely (and much safer) stroll to the points of interest. Locals have lead feet and cell phones attached to their ears - don't count on anyone to see or pay enough attention to avoid you.
